The Perfect 6-Day Guatemala Itinerary: Lake Atitlán & Antigua Travel Guide
/If Guatemala isn’t already on your travel list, I’m here to change that. I just got back from the most soul-filling week exploring Lake Atitlán and Antigua, and let me tell you—it was giving everything it needed to give. Picture this: sunrise boat rides on crystal-blue water, fresh tortillas pressed by hand, volcanoes peeking through morning clouds, and cobblestone streets lined with flowers and fire-colored buildings.
In this blog, I’m sharing my full itinerary—from how I got there and where I stayed to what I ate (because yes, food always has a starring role). Whether you’re planning a birthday trip, baecation, or solo escape, this guide will help you curate a trip that’s equal parts easy and elevated. Let’s get into it.
To make navigation easy, I created a map for each location that you can use during your travels! Scroll to the bottom to grab those.
